I was recently selected to hold a Disney Animal World Party by Tryazon. What is Tryazon? Sonic Lil' Doggies & Lil' Chickies - Great Snacks on the Go!

Sonic has this new line of Lil' Doggie and Lil' Chickie sandwiches that really hit the spot. When you're out running errands or shuttling the kids back and forth from school to sports, this is a great way to grab a snack on the go. The Lil' Doggie and Lil' Chickies are priced at around $1.49 each and make a perfect little snack when you're on the go. Plus, you won't go broke buying a quick lunch for yourself and the kiddos.

I've had a crazy month with almost no time to catch up on things around the house, but I finally had a day off and decided to pick up groceries and stop by Sonic when I was finished. I'd been sent a Sonic gift card so that I could try out the sandwiches and review them for you, so I picked up a few of the Classic Lil' Chickies and a Ketchup & Mustard Lil' Doggie. I also grabbed a chocolate shake. I usually get a slush or a Cherry Limeade at Sonic, but today, I couldn't pass up a shake!

My sonic sure wasn't stingy at all with the pickles! That's fine by me because I love dill pickles! As you can see, the Lil' Chickies are a chicken strip on a mini bun. (Don't you love the chicken strips from Sonic even without the bun?) The classic has mayo and pickles which is my favorite combination on a chicken sandwich. You can also get a Buffalo or a Honey BBQ Bacon Lil' Chickie if you'd rather. I'm just one of those classic folks.

Aren't the Lil' Doggies just the cutest things? They're mini hot dogs, but just enough for a snack. This is the Ketchup & Mustard Lil' Doggie. You can also get them in  Cheesy Bacon or a Chili Cheese. I didn't have my bacon lover with me today, so I decided to go with just ketchup & mustard for me.

That was actually my lunch. Yes, I'd eaten a few pickles already! If you're out and about and craving a snack, but don't want a burger from some other "Dollar Menu," stop by Sonic. Their Lil Doggies & Lil' Chickies will satisfy your cravings without breaking the bank and leave you recharged so you're ready to finish your errands or pick up the kids. Just hide the evidence if you stop at Sonic without the kids! I know I'd be in BIG trouble! 

I received a gift card to buy the food in this review. When I got to Sonic, the gift card wouldn't work. I had the same problem a few months ago, but I talked to the manager today and explained I was a blogger and that I was reviewing the sandwiches. He was kind enough to comp the food for me--including my milkshake. What great customer service at the Sonic in St. Albans, WV!

When you're out running errands or racing from school to sports to music lessons, sometimes you need a snack. Thanks to Sonic, your problems may be solved. Genuine Freshwater Pearl Button Earrings - Great Gift Idea #PearlClasp

Pearl and Clasp carries these lovely freshwater pearl button earrings in three different colors. You can choose from white, pink or black. I decided to go with white because they're a classic color and would go with everything.

When these earrings arrived, I was truly impressed with them. They're very good quality. I could tell that right away.

Once I opened them, I had to fight with my college age daughter over them. She fell in love with them as soon as she saw them. So did I. They're beautiful earrings. They have a nice luster to them and were a bit larger than I expected. I have a pair of pearl earrings that my husband got me for an anniversary years ago and these are definitely quite a bit larger at  9mm.

You can see how they fit on the ear. They're big enough to be seen, but not too big to look like "too much" for every day wear. Sometimes jewelry look larger on the website than it actually is. As you can see, these are not tiny earrings that will get lost on your ears.

 

They're really lovely on. I think I'm going to be sharing these with my daughter for sure. That is, if I can get them back from her! These earrings are set in sterling silver which helps to make them affordable and makes them good for every day wear.

I am truly in love with these earrings! Even my other commented on them when she saw my daughter wearing them, so obviously, this classic style transcends generations.

A few days after I received my bottle of detergent, my daughter came home from college for the summer. With her, were several suitcases and bags full of clothes.  A while back, I picked up an Air Fryer. I'd looked at them online, but I wasn't totally sure about it. Then one night I was tuned in to QVC and they had a Today's Special Value. It was on Easy Pay and I knew if I didn't like it, I could send it back with no issues, so I decided to take a chance. THIS is the Air Fryer I bought.

Bobble - Water Bottles that Filter and Infuse

Bobble sent me these really cool water bottles to test out. They come with a carbon filter which will filter your tap water so you don't have to buy a bottle of water again. You will have to replace the charcoal filter, but only after about 40 gallons of water. If you are into being green and also good tasting water, Bobble is for you!

I was able to try out two different kinds. The first was the Classic 34 oz water bottle. These are actually very cool. I got the magenta, but there are some other very cool, bright colors if you don't like pink(but I don't know who wouldn't. ;)) Like I said, this one comes with a charcoal filter. When you're ready to use the Bobble for the first time, you simply fill it with water(after you've washed it, of course!) and gently squeeze the water back out through the filter. You have to do this the first time to get rid of the carbon dust.

Over all, I like the way this bottle fits in my hand. The bottle itself is very lightweight, so most of the weight in your hand is the water.I also like that it has a cover that goes over the spout, too. A lot of water bottles don't and if you're carrying it in your gym bag or a backpack, it might get kind of icky if it's not covered. An added bonus is that the lid is attached so you won't lose it. Those are just little details, but they can mean a lot! This is a great water bottle, that I'm betting I'll be reaching for over and over.

If you want to up your game, Bobble also has some bottles that you can infuse with fruit(or whatever you like) to make some infused water. The one I got was  20 oz. which was plenty big. I just sliced up a few strawberries and some orange slices. In no time, my water was nice and fruity. The fruit flavor wasn't too heavy, and if you're someone who needs some sort of flavor in your water, this might just be the thing for you. I know a lot of people like lemon water, so here's your bottle for that!

My daughter liked the fruity water and she actually took the big Bobble with her back to college! I don't think I'll ever see that one again. Luckily I still have the infuse one and I can use it as a regular water bottle because it came with a carbon filter too. (You don't use the filter when you are using it to infuse.)

These cute, stylish bobbles are perfect for taking on all your outdoor adventures this spring and summer or for carrying to the gym. Not only will you save money by not buying bottles of water, you'll also help the environment by not throwing them in the trash. Bobble is a win-win thing as far as I'm concerned!

What is a Healthy Baby Home Party? 

Seventh Generation's home parties are powered by people like you who are focused on creating a healthy environment for the next generation. Developed with input from non-profit partner, Healthy Child Healthy World, they are a great way to get together with friends, share helpful information, and make an impact!

Healthy Baby Home Party kits are provided to all selected hosts and are filled with educational info about our environment, helpful tips, a fun game, and samples and coupons from Seventh Generation and other favorite family-friendly brands like bobble, Plum Organics and Zarbee's Naturals.

What is the Application Process?

• Sign up at generationgood.net to join the Generation Good community, or log in if already a member.
• Accept the Healthy Baby Home Party Application offer on your Generation Good dashboard and complete the application.
• Applicants will be notified by end of March if they have been selected to host a party, via an email to the email address assigned to their Generation Good member profile.

Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent - Thumbs Up!

We're a sensitive skin kind of family. Many of the perfumes and additives in regular laundry detergent just don't agree with us. Between us all, we'll break out, itch, and some of it even makes us sneeze.

From the time my kids were babies, I always used a scent free detergent. It was still one of the major brands and I was happy with it, but in all honesty, I've always wanted something that was a little more natural. I hate that we are using so many chemicals on our skin and in our homes on a daily basis.

The thing holding me back from doing a switch to a natural product was the fear that it just wouldn't clean my clothes that well.

That's why I was excited to try out some samples of Seventh Generation Laundry Detergent. Their detergent doesn't contain the harsh chemicals like most detergents, but does it clean my clothes?

I put it to the test. The answer is unequivocally YES! My clothes were clean. They didn't smell like chemicals and I was a happy camper.  So is my family. None of us are itching after using it.

As you can see by the HE on the label, you can use this detergent in your HE washing machines with no problems!

Yes, I'm one of those people. You'll find me in the store with my stack of coupons and while I wouldn't call myself an EXTREME couponer, I am  definitely a couponaholic and a stockpiler. I have shelves in my house filled with products that I got free or for pennies on the dollar. I do this by watching sales, clipping coupons and using digital coupons at my local stores -- including Dollar General. These are all easy ways to save on great products like Scott paper products.

Some of my favorite things to stockpile are paper products. I like to have a nice supply of paper towels and toilet paper in my stockpile because to be honest, I hate paying full price for those two items. As you can see, Scott is almost always in my stockpile because they put out great coupons and it's usually easy to find a deal on them.

Brownie Brittle Party & Review

 

A while back, I was selected by Tryazon to host a Brownie Brittle party. I originally planned to host the party during my niece's second birthday party, but the party packs were delayed, so I had to improvise.

With things so hectic around Thanksgiving and the holidays, it's hard to get people together, but I did my best and we managed to have a nice get-together.

We Love Disney Album CD Review - Releases 10/30

We are huge Disney fans in our family. I remember lots of road trips that involved listening to The Lion King soundtrack for hours as well as some Disney CDs of all our favorites. Now, Disney has brought together some amazing artists for their new compilation We Love Disney which is being released on 10/30.

Artists like Gwen Stefani, Jason Derulo, Ariana Grande, Jessie J, NE-YO, and even Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars fame. Did you know she's also a singer? She sings Let It Go with Rascal Flatts.

I had the opportunity to preview this CD and it is amazing! Any Disney fan will fall in love with this CD. You'll find new versions of songs like "Part of Your World," "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," "A Friend in Me," and even "A Spoonful of Sugar." And where else are you going to find Gwen Stefani singing "The Rainbow Collection?"

Rhodes Bake'N Serv Party Review #Tryazon #Rhodesbread

Yesterday, I hosted a Rhodes party for Tryazon. It was originally scheduled to be a party to showcase Rhodes' new Microwave Cinnamon Rolls, but I couldn't locate them in my area, so instead, I picked up some of their regular Cinnamon Rolls and a couple of packages of their frozen Dinner Rolls.

I was already very familiar with Rhodes because I've been using their frozen dinner rolls for years to make pepperoni rolls. If you don't know what pepperoni rolls are, chances are, you're not from West Virginia. You can click here to see my recipe.

Back to the Cinnamon Rolls--they were so easy to make. I was kind of pressed for time, so I followed the quick directions on the bag. It said to pre-heat the oven to 175 degrees and then turn it off. Then I placed the frozen cinnamon rolls in pans and put them in the oven to thaw and rise. After a little over an hour, I checked them and they were huge! I honestly wasn't expecting them to be so big. That explains why the directions said to only put 9 in an 9x12" pan!

We had a great time. We hung out, snacked, and shared recipes. Everyone LOVED the cinnamon rolls! (Even the ones who had just rolled out of bed!)

The little ones loved them, too!

The cinnamon rolls tasted like from scratch cinnamon rolls to me minus all the work. I will most definitely be buying these again to serve now that I've tried them. Rhodes and Tryazon were also kind enough to send me some coupons to pass out. I'm sure they will be used.
