Never Forget 9/11

Today is a day that shouldn't go unrecognized. I looked for a video to share, but so many of them are graphic and for those of us who lived through those days and can remember, we don't need a video to remember the details.

I remember looking at the beautiful, bright, blue sky and wondering how something so horrible could be happening in our country on such a beautiful day. It seemed unreal. It seemed impossible.

So, today, we remember all those lives lost, but we also remember the way our country came together as one to unite and heal. It is who we are.
