Everyone who knows me, knows that I love The Wizard of Oz. It's been pretty much my favorite movie since I was a little girl. When I saw that Hollar had these Wizard of Oz Collectibles, I had to check them out. The prices were amazing and even though I knew they were Hallmark, I was still kind of not expecting much since I only paid $5-$6 for the pictures and $8 for the Dorothy figurine! I spent a little over $25 because shipping is free when you spend that much. (I just realized Dorothy looks like she's going to fall in that picture up there. Trust me, she didn't! ;))

Was I ever in for a surprise!
I got my order today and I really could NOT be more impressed! I paid $6 - yes $6 for this Wizard of Oz plaque and it came with the price tag still attached at $24.95! For real! You couldn't get a decent frame for $6, but this entire Wizard of Oz plaque was only $6. Yes, it's still available. I just checked! It measures 9.5" L x 7.5" W and says "It's not the destination, but the journey that matters."
The Dorothy figurine was just $8 and she says "It's all about the shoes!" We ladies know that's the truth! She's resin and measures 6.6" L x 4.5" W x 3.5" H. They have the coordinating Wicked Witch and Glinda, the Good Witch figures to go long with her. I think I'm going to be making another order!
To be honest, my favorite of all is the Lions & Tigers & Bears, Oh My! plaque. It's still available, too. Search for Hallmark Lions to find it because it doesn't come up in a Wizard of Oz search. It is just $5 and had a $19.95 price tag on it! It measures 7" L x 7" W.
Any of these make great gifts. If you know a Wizard of Oz collector, they'll love them all.
I also picked up this Disney Mickey Mouse sign that says "Think. Believe. Dream. Dare" I checked but I don't see it available on the site any longer. Neither is the Linus laundry sign I picked up for my laundry room, so I didn't take a picture, but I wanted to share the quality of these items. They were all in perfect condition, too. They came packaged well with lots of bubble wrap and nothing even looked dinged.
If you've hesitated about ordering from Hollar, there's no reason to! This is my second order from them and this one impressed me even more than the first.
