My kids love the potato wedges from KFC. Ok, maybe so do I. I don't like all the grease and the other unhealthy stuff that is probably in them, so I started making them at home in my air fryer.
These are super easy to make. They don't take long and your kids will be happy!
Ingredients:
2 Large Russet Potatoes
2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
Seasoning Salt or your choice of seasonings
Directions:
- Wash potatoes, but don't peel. Slice potatoes into wedges and let soak in bowl of water. Rinse and dry well.
- Place potato wedges into a large zipper bag. Add 2-3 teaspoons of olive oil (you can add more or less) and season with seasoned salt or your choice(I sometimes use Italian seasoning, garlic salt and parmesan cheese.) Alternatively, you can spray the potatoes with olive oil and use even less oil.
- Shake well and make sure the potatoes are well coated. Place in air fryer basket.
- Cook at 370 degrees for 8 minutes. Shake basket and manually flip potatoes if necessary. Cook for another 8 minutes. You may want to cook a little longer to get the desired crispness you want.
We had these last night with ribs I made in the pressure cooker. They were yummy!
