I was really excited to get the email earlier today that Zaycon Foods has opened their chicken event! You might remember my review last year about Zaycon's chicken.
I was so impressed that this time I ordered two cases. Yes. Two cases.
We're almost out and I will never buy chicken breast from the grocery store again if I can help it. There is a huge difference in taste.
Some other things I like:
So go ahead and order your chicken. It's priced at $1.99/lb and comes in 40 lb cases. Yes, it sounds like a lot and if you really don't think you'll use it, you can split a box with a friend, but if you have a family and cook chicken, it's a nice price on high quality chicken.
Even if you're just thinking about it, I recommend signing up. That way you'll get info on Zaycon's events near you.

This week has been not just a snow day, but an entire snow WEEK! School has been cancelled--even colleges have closed--and we've all been stuck in the house. The temperatures have dipped way below zero the past few days and nights, too.
You'd think that after living in Maine for almost 15 years, I would be used to this, but it seems that I never get used to being snowbound! We were lucky in that all we really needed was bread and milk before the storm hit. I had plenty of food I could pull from the freezer and my stockpile.
