It's Tuesday! It's Tuesday! My favorite day of the week! You see, I have a little addiction to a TV show and it's on Tuesday nights. I know that I'm way out of the normal demographics for this show, but I can't help it. I'm a Pretty Little Liars addict.
About a year and a half ago, I was bored and flipped on Netflix. I'd heard a lot about this show and it popped up, so I decided to watch an episode. Before I knew what had happened, it was 3AM and I'd watched 5 episodes! Yikes. I Netflix binged on this show until I was caught up for the new season and since then, every Tuesday night is MY TV NIGHT. Everyone knows not to bother me between 8 and 9 PM or there will be SERIOUS consequences. (Yes, I used the line "If you aren't bleeding profusely and the house isn't on fire, DON'T BOTHER ME!")
It is NOT just a show for teens. The writing is fantastic. The acting is amazing! The wardrobe...well, there are entire blogs devoted to PLL fashion! Seriously, you MUST watch.
Since my obsession started, I've talked to a few other people my age who watch and I've also converted a few friends to my #PLL obsession. If you follow me on Twitter, you've probably noticed a few #PLL tweets. I really try NOT to go overboard, but it's hard sometimes! (Of course, I'm also old and it's hard to tweet sometimes and keep up with the show in real time. Ha!)
So, here's the thing. If you LOVE the show as much as I do, Amazon has the seasons at decent prices on DVD. They're on MY Valentine list, so I thought I'd share.
