LeapFrog makes some pretty cool learning toys. I've certainly been a fan for years! That's why when my family was offered the opportunity to try out some new products from LeapFrog, I jumped at the chance!
In today's society, our kids are turning to technology even younger than ever before. The little ones probably know how to work our iPads and smartphones better than we do! LeapFrog has created some new products that turn your Apple products into cool, learning "toys" the kids will love.
Once you purchase the products, you simply visit the App Store to download the appropriate app. The apps are free to download and included in the purchase price. Once you download the app and activate it, you are good to go!
First up is the Creativity Camera Protective Case & App. It turns your iPhone or iPod touch into a super-cool camera and creativity center.
The case does a great job protecting your iPhone. I know you're worrying about putting your iPhone in the hands of your three year old! We know this case is good because she dropped the phone many times and the phone stayed inside totally protected! Phew!
The only thing we did notice is that when we used it with an iPhone 5c, it seemed to be a little tricky to fit in the case at times, but it did work.
The Creativity Camera Protective Case & App was a huge hit here! She loved playing with it because it made her feel like a big kid. Moms & Dads don't have to worry that the camera will get dropped or broken because the case protects it. There are plenty of activities on the app to keep them busy and it looks like something that will grow with them. It's recommended for ages 3 - 6 and I definitely think it's the perfect age range.
We also got to try out the Learn to Write with Mr. Pencil™ Stylus & Writing App. This one came at just the right time because as you can see from her face in the photo, she likes to WRITE with MARKERS! The only problem was, this day it was on her face, on her arms, on her hands! Mr. Pencil is a much better idea than a marker in her hands at times.
To use the Learn to Write with Mr. Pencil™ Stylus & Writing App, once again, you download the app from the App Store. It's so simple. You'll activate your App(it's free) with the stylus. Once you're activated, they can have fun learning how to write. They'll start with basic lines and progress to letters, numbers and more.
There are 85 interactive activities! Plus, the stylus is specially designed NOT to scratch your screen, so there are no worries there. This kept her occupied for a very long time which gave me time to rest up. ;)
Both of these Apps would be perfect to use not just at home, but when you are in the car, waiting at the doctor, dentist, or any other time you need something to keep the little ones busy. They both get two thumbs up from Kynzi AND me.
